Established in 2001, Brookwater is part of the 28.5 square kilometre Greater Springfield area that is the largest planned residential area in Australia.
Brookwater Golf Course is the main feature of the suburb and is on the doorstep of Springfield Central that have commercial offices, a 200-ha town centre, a research and development centre and 1000 ha of open space.
Suited for the family lifestyle, this suburb in the western corridor is less than 35 minutes away or 40 minutes by train from the Brisbane CBD, 60 minutes from the Gold Coast and 90 minutes from Toowoomba.
Surrounding suburbs include Springfield Lakes, Springfield, Augustine Heights, Bellbird Park and Camira.
